The Science Behind Ovuu

TENS or Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation works by passing harmless electrical signals into the body from its pads to essentially block the pain signals from the brain.

RELIEVES PAIN IN TWO WAYS:

HIGH FREQUENCY PULSES

Firstly, through "high frequency" or continuous mode, mild electrical signals overwhelm, confuse, and essentially block the pain signals from travelling to the brain where we perceive pain.

LOW FREQUENCY PULSES

Secondly, TENS stimulates the body to release its own natural pain-relievers. "Low frequency" or a periodic short burst of mild electrical activity stimulates the the body's own pain-control mechanism. These built-in pain erasers are called beta endorphins. OVUU helps you help yourself release some of these seemingly magical little helpers.
